Candy comes from two places: Candy Potatoes, which pay out Candy when you process them through the normal fry line, and Trick or Treating, a night-time run around the houses that happens while anomalies are active. Spend Candy on the Halloween Chest, which temporarily replaces the normal prize wheel; its named rewards are the Flamethrower, the Spooky Bomb and the Candy Bucket.

How to earn Candy
Sort the pile for Candy Potatoes
Candy Potatoes are special potatoes mixed in with the ordinary ones in the outdoor pile. They are the passive route: pick them out during normal potato collecting.
Done when: You can tell a Candy Potato apart from an ordinary potato while collecting.
Process them through the fry line
A Candy Potato still has to go through the normal production chain. Processing it pays out regular Cash as well as Candy, so the event never slows the kitchen down.
Done when: The Candy Potato has been peeled, fried and served, and Candy is credited.
Run Trick or Treating after dark
Trick or Treating is a night-time activity where you visit houses to collect Candy. It runs while the anomaly phase is active, so you are away from the restaurant exactly when it is most dangerous.
Done when: You have finished every in-shop job and equipped a defence before leaving.
Save it for the chest
Hold Candy back rather than spending it immediately, because the Halloween Chest reward pool is not published and your own chest is the only reliable readout of what is left.
Done when: You know which chest reward you are saving toward.
The Halloween Chest
The Halloween Chest is the event's main Candy sink. It temporarily replaces the normal prize wheel while the event runs, which means the daily free spin described on the Gems economy page is the chest for the duration.
Its price and drop rates have not been published, so read the chest in your own server before committing a large Candy balance.
Three named rewards come out of the chest:
| Reward | What it does |
|---|---|
| Flamethrower | The key-search burn tool — see the Flamethrower upgrade page for what it does and its usual street-shop price. |
| Spooky Bomb | A Halloween explosive with unlimited uses. |
| Candy Bucket | A potato-handling tool that lets you collect and carry more. |
Spooky Bomb and Candy Bucket
Spooky Bomb is the event's answer to grouped threats. Because it has unlimited uses, save it for the moments when several anomalies stack at once — a Power Out while a crawler is crossing the floor, or a shift where you cannot keep one weapon on the right target. Treat it as an event-only panic button, not a replacement for the Cross or Gun that handle the chase threats.
Candy Bucket is a carry tool, not a weapon. It raises how many potatoes you can collect and carry in one trip, which clears the outdoor pile faster and gives you more chances to spot a Candy Potato while working through it. That makes it the better of the two for steady Candy income — buy it once you are consistently working the pile and want more Candy Potatoes per trip.
Halloween achievements
The event added its own limited-time objectives, tracked separately from the standard Win and Hard Mode badges. Their exact requirements have not been published, so open the achievement list in-game after your first shift to see what the event is actually asking for.
Because they are event objectives rather than permanent badges, treat them as something to clear during the event rather than a reason to change your normal run.
New basement scene
A new Halloween scene was added to the basement ending sequence. It does not change how a run is won: you still have to surface the Golden Key from the hidden potato, unlock the hatch, and descend. See the Golden Key page for the escape route, and the Anomalies hub for the threats waiting on the way down.
