Night survival hub
Sell Fries! [Anomaly] anomalies: the full roster and night survival hub
Eight named entities are in current public guides. Learn the universal rules first, then the priority order, then the counter for whichever one spawns.
Finish outdoor jobs before 8:00 PM, keep a Cross or Gun equipped for the chase threats, reload the Window Fries Shooter, and treat THE GIANT!, RUN INSIDE! and the Window Anomaly's distorted text as your cue to switch to that anomaly's counter. Every entity in the roster below now has a counter here, including Cat Monster, Power Out, the Stuck Robot Helper and the Drive-Through Crawler.

Universal night-survival rules
These rules apply before any specific anomaly counter:
- Finish every outdoor job before 8:00 PM — collect potatoes, finish deliveries, return across the road.
- Once inside, stay indoors and avoid opening doors for several in-game seconds after a warning flashes.
- Keep a Cross or Gun equipped at night for the chase threats. They do not work on The Giant.
- Reload the Window Fries Shooter before each shift so it can fire when the Window Anomaly appears.
- Read the on-screen warning text — "RUN INSIDE!", "THE GIANT!", and the Window Anomaly's distorted red text each tell you which counter to use.
The full roster with counters
| Entity | When it hits | Counter |
|---|---|---|
Window Anomaly | Night, while the service window is open | Red EMERGENCY button beside the window, or a loaded Window Fries Shooter. Never serve it. |
Drive-Through Crawler | Night, after a window customer is ignored | Step outside until it leaves, then re-enter — or shoot it with a Cross or Gun. A loaded Window Fries Shooter kills it. |
Shadow Entity | Night, outdoors | RUN INSIDE! — sprint into the shop and stay clear of the doors, or use the Cross or Gun. |
Cat Monster | Night, outdoors | Cross or Gun, or stay inside for several in-game minutes. |
The Giant | Night, across the street | Run inside and stay there. Move out of the marked ground circles if you are caught outside. No weapon works. |
Power Out | Lights fail and the conveyor stops | When it is safe, go outside, interact with the illuminated power box, and connect each coloured wire to its matching outlet. |
Potato Eater | At the outdoor conveyor, eating your potatoes | Walk up and hold the interact button until it flees. The Flamethrower also removes it. |
Stuck Robot Helper | A Robot Helper you own freezes and speaks garbled dialogue | Find the stopped robot near the outdoor pile and hold interact until it resumes working. |
Why guides disagree on the count
Published counts for this game move between six, seven and eight, and the roster above lists all eight so that nothing spawns without an answer here.
- Some guides count six by leaving out the Cat Monster and the crawler.
- Some count seven by treating the Drive-Through Crawler as the Window Anomaly's escalation rather than an entity of its own — which is what it is, mechanically, but it is a separate thing you have to survive.
- Some count eight by listing everything.
The roster and counters here were checked against public guides on 2026-10-21. The Cat Monster is the least consistently documented entry, and one source still calls it unconfirmed, so treat that counter as the one most likely to change.
Four entities have their own pages with the full detail: The Giant, the Shadow Entity, the Potato Eater and the Window Anomaly. The counters for the other four are complete enough to handle in place.
What spawns during the day
Night begins at 8:00 PM, and most encounters start there. But no guide publishes a fixed day/night schedule for every entry, so read the roster this way:
- Documented as night-only: the Window Anomaly and its Drive-Through Crawler escalation, the Shadow Entity, the Cat Monster and The Giant.
- Not restricted to the night window by any published source: Power Out and the Stuck Robot Helper. Both interrupt the kitchen rather than chasing you outside — Power Out kills the lights and the conveyor, and the Stuck Robot Helper only affects a Robot Helper you have already bought.
That means you can meet those two at any hour. Finish outdoor jobs before 8:00 PM regardless, but do not treat daylight as a guaranteed safe shift.
Priority tiers when multiple anomalies trigger
When more than one anomaly fires at once, work down this order. Each tier already carries the counter, so you do not have to leave this page mid-shift:
| Threats | Why it comes first | Counter |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 — Survival: Shadow Entity, Cat Monster, The Giant | These directly threaten your character. | Sprint inside for all three; Cross or Gun for the first two; nothing stops The Giant. |
| Tier 2 — Production: Window Anomaly, Drive-Through Crawler, Power Out | These threaten the shop, the window and the line. | Red EMERGENCY button or Window Fries Shooter; step outside or shoot the crawler; the power-box wire puzzle. |
| Tier 3 — Cleanup: Potato Eater, Stuck Robot Helper | These only stall production. | Hold interact; or burn the Potato Eater with the Flamethrower. |
The Giant
The Giant is a massive late-night boss with antlers and glowing purple skin that fires energy beams across the street. The encounter is announced by rumbling, screen static, and the on-screen text "THE GIANT!". Cross, Gun, and other weapons do not affect it, so the only counter is to sprint inside as soon as the warning appears and stay there until the boss passes. For the full counter and the dodge pattern, see the Giant boss page.
Window Anomaly
The Window Anomaly is a dark figure with bloodshot eyes that appears at the order and service window and displays distorted red, broken text demanding service. It only triggers while the service window is open. The counter is the red EMERGENCY button beside the window, which closes the emergency shutter immediately. The Window Fries Shooter handles the same threat automatically when it is loaded. Ignore it and it escalates into a Drive-Through Crawler. For the full counter, see the Window Anomaly page.
Hard Mode pressure
All the same nighttime anomalies still spawn on Hard Mode, but The Giant appears regularly starting on Night 2 of every Hard Mode run instead of being a rare encounter. That skews Hard Mode pressure heavily toward night survival rather than production. For the unlock condition and the priority order for Hard Mode runs, see the Hard Mode page.
The October 2026 Halloween event adds one more reason to clear the shop before dark: Trick or Treating is a night-time Candy run that takes you away from the restaurant while the anomalies are active.
